In spring 2027, we’ll be planting new Räuschling vines in Stäfa.

Many of the vines we work with today were planted by the generations before us. Now, a new vineyard is taking root – and you can be part of it from the very beginning. Because a winery is more than soil, vines and barrels. It’s the people who bring it to life. Four generations of the Hohl family. Our team, out in the vineyard in all weathers. And now: you.

By adopting a vine, you’ll join your own vine on its journey over five years. Your name will have its place in the vineyard, and you’ll experience its journey first-hand – from the first shoots and grapes to the first wine from our new vineyard. And of course, we’ll open that first bottle together.

Your own vine – with your name, a unique number and your own sign right in the heart of our vineyard in Stäfa.

Your personal certificate – sent by post to your home or directly to someone special when the vine sponsorship is a gift.

Five years along for the journey – through our Rebgötti newsletter, you’ll follow your vine from its first shoots to its first grapes and experience its growth up close.

A bottle of Räuschling every year – first from our current vintages, and later from the new vineyard where your own vine grows.

Our annual Rebgötti event – visit your vine, join us for a walk through the vineyard and taste our latest wines. And of course, there’ll be something delicious to eat too.

What’s included in my vine sponsorship?

Your own vine with a personalised name sign and unique vine number, your personal certificate, regular updates from the vineyard, a bottle of Räuschling every year and an invitation to our annual Rebgötti event.

How long does the vine sponsorship last?

Your vine sponsorship lasts for five years. During this time, you’ll follow your young vine as it grows, produces its first grapes and eventually becomes part of the first wine from the new vineyard.

How much does a vine sponsorship cost?

The vine sponsorship costs a one-time fee of CHF 179.– for the full five years.

Whose name will be on my vine?

The name of the Rebgötti or Rebgotti will appear on the vine’s personalised sign. When you register, simply let us know whose name the vine sponsorship should be in.

When will I receive my certificate?

Once your registration is complete, we’ll send your personal certificate to you by post. If the vine sponsorship is a gift, we’ll of course time the delivery to match the date you’d like to give it to that special someone.

When will my vine be planted?

We’ll plant the new Räuschling vines in our vineyard in Stäfa in spring 2027.

Where exactly will my vine be?

Your vine will be planted in our “Kindergarten” parcel in Stäfa on Lake Zurich (coordinates: 2696848.47 / 1233782.43).

Can I visit my vine?

Of course. At our annual Rebgötti event, we’ll head into the vineyard together. You can visit your vine with its personalised name sign and see how it has grown over the year.

Will I receive a bottle of wine in the first year?

Yes. Even while your vine is still growing, you’ll receive a bottle of Räuschling from Rebhalde every year. Once the first wine from the new vineyard is ready, that’s the bottle you’ll receive.

Is the wine made from my own vine?

Not in the first few years. While your vine is still growing, you’ll receive a bottle of Räuschling from our current production. Later, you’ll receive the first wine from the new vineyard where your own vine grows.

What if Räuschling isn’t my favourite wine?

No problem – just let us know. Räuschling is part of the vine sponsorship, but we’ll be happy to find a suitable alternative from our range together.

What happens if my young vine doesn’t grow?

Don’t worry. If your young vine doesn’t establish successfully, we’ll replace it. Your vine number and personalised name sign will, of course, remain the same.

Can I give a vine sponsorship as a gift?

Absolutely. When you register, simply let us know that the vine sponsorship is a gift and when you plan to give it. We’ll time the personal certificate and welcome email accordingly, so the surprise really does stay a surprise.

How will I find out what’s happening with my vine?

Once your vine sponsorship begins, you’ll automatically receive our Rebgötti newsletter. Throughout the five years, we’ll send you personal updates and give you a glimpse into what’s happening with your vine and throughout the vineyard season.

When does the Rebgötti event take place?

Our Rebgötti event takes place every year on the first Saturday in June here at Rebhalde. We’ll send you all the details and information about the day in plenty of time.

What can I expect at the Rebgötti event?

Once a year, all our Rebgöttis and Rebgottis come together at the Rebhalde. You’ll visit your vine, join us for a walk through the vineyard and taste our current wines. Your annual bottle of wine will also be waiting for you at the Rebgötti Event, ready to take home. Afterwards, you can enjoy something to eat as well as additional wines and drinks, available to purchase as you please. There will be plenty of time to relax, enjoy the afternoon and get to know the other Rebgöttis and Rebgottis.

What happens to my annual bottle if I can’t attend the Rebgötti event?

No problem. Just get in touch with us and we’ll send your bottle to your home; you’ll simply have to cover the shipping costs.

Can I bring family and friends to the Rebgötti event?

Yes, of course. Family and friends are very welcome to join and take part in the wine tasting too. Food and additional drinks will be available to purchase and enjoy throughout the event.

Can I extend my vine sponsorship after five years?

Yes. Around six months before your five-year sponsorship ends, we’ll get in touch with you personally. You can then decide whether you’d like to continue accompanying your vine. There’s no automatic renewal.

Can I end my vine sponsorship before the five years are up?

The vine sponsorship is designed as a five-year commitment and is taken out for the full five-year period, so early cancellation isn’t possible. After five years, your sponsorship ends automatically – unless you decide you’d like to continue accompanying your vine on its journey.
